Like all things Pompy, we wanted to create something that marries style with usability. A task lamp should be uncomplicated and unobtrusive. We set out to create something that offers basic articulation without the complexity and lots of moving parts.
The Troy Task Lamp is the perfect desk companion. A simple, classic form with basic adjustability and a design that’s meant to stand out, even as it blends in.

The Troy Task Lamp is the perfect desk companion. A simple, classic form with basic adjustability and a design that’s meant to stand out, even as it blends in.
Constructed from three pieces of wood sharing a common shape, we designed the upright and arm of the lamp to allow adjustment at both vertical and horizontal axes. The upright features 3 precision cut slots allowing the arm to be positioned between 12” and 15” above your desk or table. The arm can be adjusted to extend between 5” and 16” from the upright.

The Troy Task Lamp is a "cord-forward" design. Rather than hide the cabling within the lamp, we use a cloth-covered 18 gauge wire and premium hardware with a solid metal elbow pivot that offers a rotational articulation of nearly 180º.

Offered in all 6 Pompy North American Hardwood Species and 3 hardware configurations, the Troy Task Lamp can be designed to accommodate nearly any home office or quiet reading corner.
