Our latest Pompy photoshoot was staged at a beautiful custom post and beam home in neighboring Pomfret, Vermont. In fact, the home is owned by a friend of the photographer and was the perfect setting to showcase some of our latest designs and timeless classics.

After visiting the home we developed a detailed plan that created defined spaces within the open floor plan. By selecting a mix of contemporary and shaker-inspired pieces, including the brand new Corinth Server pictured here, we were able to create a beautiful livable environment that was at once contemporary, and payed tribute to the classic post and beam construction of the property.

We chose neutral finishes to enhance the home’s wood tones and slate floors. Storage pieces were needed to manage transition spaces. We wanted the dining area to be large enough for meals, a work area, as well as a study and homework space. The Designer extension table and Mason chairs in cherry with our signature natural matte finish were a perfect solution.

The clean lines of the Calais couch and chair work to complement the design of the home and define the living space. The Belmont coffee table and console table add a modern elegance to the room. The console table features a truly stunning spalted maple top that complements the maple cabinetry from the kitchen. Neutral rugs from Innerasia and Feizy were chosen to define dining and living areas.

We believe in creating spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. A Pompy shoot would not be complete without capturing the livability of our design. For that, we enlisted our incredible rough mill manager, Mike Reid, and his beautiful family. Mike and his wife Tiffany prepared a delicious salmon dinner while their two sons put together puzzles and entertained their little sister. They were even kind enough to make extras to share with the behind-the-scenes camera crew!
