About the Job
Responsible for the delivery of premium furniture on company trucks.• Delivery and set-up of furniture in customer's home, removing old furniture when necessary.• Unload and position floor models on our showroom sales floors.• Responsible for the condition of truck and to write daily truck maintenance reports, log-books, and all required paperwork.• Backup warehouse and loading duties when requested.• Inspect, touch up and clean pieces prior to delivery.• Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.• Comply with all DOT regulations.• Perform a support role at our Annual Tent sale each Memorial Day weekend.
About You
We are looking for motivated, smart and conscientious employee. With a high spirit, you will drive, deliver, and set-up handcrafted solid wood furniture at our customers' homes. You will ensure a high level of service and professionalism to our retail customers and showrooms.
Special Skills Required
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- No CDL required
- All licenses and other required documents current.
- Must pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.
- Heavy lifting required -- up to 100 pounds. May be required to carry heavy merchandise up stairs.
- Must wear uniform and maintain personal appearance by following our dress code requirements.
- Must have and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to work Monday through Saturday.
- Home Delivery or furniture removal experience encouraged.
