White Glove Delivery Driver

About the Job

Responsible for the delivery of premium furniture on company trucks.

• Delivery and set-up of furniture in customer's home, removing old furniture when necessary.
• Unload and position floor models on our showroom sales floors. • Responsible for the condition of truck and to write daily truck maintenance reports, log-books, and all required paperwork. • Backup warehouse and loading duties when requested. • Inspect, touch up and clean pieces prior to delivery. • Operate vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. • Comply with all DOT regulations. • Perform a support role at our Annual Tent sale each Memorial Day weekend.

About You

We are looking for motivated, smart and conscientious employee. With a high spirit, you will drive, deliver, and set-up handcrafted solid wood furniture at our customers' homes. You will ensure a high level of service and professionalism to our retail customers and showrooms.

Special Skills Required

• Must be over 21 years of age. • No CDL required • All licenses and other required documents current. • Must pass a DOT physical. • Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions. • Heavy lifting required -- up to 100 pounds. May be required to carry heavy merchandise up stairs. • Must wear uniform and maintain personal appearance by following our dress code requirements. • Must have and maintain a good driving record. • Must be able to work Monday through Saturday. • Home Delivery or furniture removal experience encouraged.
