About the Job
We are seeking a dynamic Home Accents Buyer & Marketing Support professional to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to blend product selection with innovative marketing strategies, ensuring our home accents collection resonates with customers and stands out in the marketplace. You will play a vital role in curating product assortments while supporting multichannel marketing initiatives that elevate our brand presence.Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Product Curation & Buying - leading the selection and development of our décor assortment, making sure everything aligns with Pompy’s values of quality, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Review samples and approve products based on quality, design, and durability. Focus on growing high-impact categories such as rugs, mattresses, lighting, and accent furniture
- Vendor & Artist Relationships - sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining relationships with vendors and artists. Pricing products to meet margin goals. Managing consignment programs, pricing, and commission structures.
- Inventory, Pricing & Performance – you’ll balance creativity with smart buying to make sure our showrooms are well stocked with the right products at the right time. Reviewing sales data to identify bestsellers, slow movers, reorders, and phase-outs
- Showroom & Merchandising Support - working closely with the retail teams to make sure home accents are presented beautifully and sell well alongside our furniture. Providing signage, product details, and training to sales teams; and helping showrooms quote and source special orders.
- Operational & Data Support – creating and maintaining SKUs, product descriptions, and inventory records; receiving and allocating shipments across showrooms; coordinating invoices, payments, and vendor documentation.
- Marketing Support – providing retail & in-store collaterals, managing
- Google Business Listings for all showrooms, trade shows, website product updates and as needed.
You will have a strong voice in shaping what our customers see, feel, and bring into their homes — and you’ll be working with products that are made to be loved for generations.
About You
You are someone who loves great design and great products, but you’re also organized, curious, and detail oriented. You might be a great fit if you:
- Have experience in buying, merchandising, retail, or product sourcing (home, lifestyle, or design-focused industries a plus)
- Have strong taste and an eye for quality, materials, and craftsmanship
- Enjoy working with vendors, artists, and creative teams
- Are comfortable working with numbers, inventory, and sales data
- Like being both strategic and hands-on
- Are excited by a role that blends buying, merchandising, and marketing
